The Beetzsee actually consists of three lakes, which are connected by short ditches, called Sträng or Streng in Brandenburg. The first part stretches from the Stromhavel to the constriction near Radewege; then the Beetzsee turns to the east and the third part, which lies behind the Lünower Sträng, faces north-east. The Beetzsee is THE lake for the people of Brandenburg. When the weather is nice, life is bustling here and we meet SUPers, rowers, sailors, anglers as well as motorboats, rafts and houseboats.
